A love of craft began at a
very early age; I was always trying to create
something. My childhood dream was always to become a
fashion designer. I always had this fascination for
anything old. My Grandmother can’t understand why I
love it so much, as she had been through it herself.
As I got older I always
fiddled with different crafts but it wasn’t until I got
married and had my two children, that I started sewing,
making country craft items (it was my sanity). I
started my business in January 2004 and didn’t stop,
making a large range of patterns. I still have a home
based business; and we live on a Sugar Cane Farm on the
Burdekin River in Home Hill, NQ. I am so I am so lucky
to be able to work from home doing what I love best and
not missing out with my children. That is as long as my
husband doesn’t find me, to help out on the farm.
.
I have loved doing various
Millinery courses, to extend my knowledge. Although I
could never be a Milliner, I will try my hand at most
pieces. I like to design and create all my range to be
original and one off. I really dislike doing repetition
and enjoy making new creations.
In 2008, I completed a
Fashion Design and Dressmaking course to start
fulfilling my dream. Feeling inspired and with the help
of my cute nieces I now have a Hair Accessory Range and
I am happy to say I am stocking 6 gorgeous stores. Yes
late nights, early mornings and a really crazy life, but
I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I hope you enjoy browsing
through my site, regards
